Penas Have Long Had a Weakness for High Fastballs

Joe Posnanski was at Fenway last night, so we get a nice description of Jon Lester's no-hitter.

Anyway, how come Posnanski's allowed to talk about no-hitters in the fourth inning, but when I innocently ask, "Hey, has Jon Lester thrown a no-hitter before?" in the eighth, you tell me I'm gonna jinx it?

In one word: timing. You asked with two outs in the ninth inning, he asked in the fourth when nobody was thinking about it.
